What works with CloudyPOS.

Item	What works
Till screen	A PC, laptop, tablet or phone with a current browser such as Chrome or Edge. It works on low-cost phones and tablets as well as tills.
Internet	Needed to set up and to sync. When it drops, the till keeps selling and sends the sales later.
Receipt printer	Receipts print from the browser to your receipt printer, about 0.2 seconds after the sale is saved.
Barcode scanning	Scan at the till: an exact barcode or SKU match adds the item to the sale. Owners can also scan with the phone camera in the Manager app.
Customer display	Optional. A second screen can show the customer their sale.
Owner's phone	For the Manager app: Android with Chrome, or iPhone with the app added to the Home Screen.

Do I need to buy new hardware?

No. CloudyPOS runs in a browser on the PC, laptop, tablet or phone you already have.

Which receipt printer should I use?

Receipts print through the browser, so use a receipt printer that is set up on the computer or tablet you sell from. Talk to us if you are not sure.

Does it work in a power cut?

If the till has power, yes. It can sign a cashier in and sell with no internet, and send the sales later. Keep the router on a small UPS.
